Care and support

Across our supported housing services and retirement communities, residents receive personalized care and support tailored to their needs, enabling them to live as independently as possible. Depending on the service, this care and support may be delivered by one of our dedicated teams or through a care agency.
Every aspect of care is customized to match each individual’s unique skills and abilities, empowering them to achieve their personal goals and lead the life they desire.
Additionally, customers have the option to purchase an assistive technology package from our Technology Enabled Living range, offering further support for their independence and added peace of mind

Supported housing and residential care homes

In our supported housing with care services and residential care homes, our highly trained staff deliver personalized care to residents, including assistance with tasks such as washing, toileting, dressing, maintaining personal hygiene, and managing medication.
Across all our supported housing services, residential homes, and floating support services, our teams also offer guidance on developing life skills, managing tenancy or license agreements, building self-confidence, and addressing mental health or other specific needs.
Our staff collaborate with each client to create a customized support plan, guided by the appropriate Outcomes Star model for their individual requirements. These tailored plans aim to help each person achieve their personal goals and take into account their preferences, emotional and social wellbeing, individual skills and abilities, as well as religious, cultural, and leisure interests, among other considerations.

Retirement communities

In our retirement communities, residents have the flexibility to receive as much or as little personal care as they need, enabling them to live independently while enjoying the reassurance of having staff available on-site 24/7.
To ensure peace of mind, residents benefit from regular wellbeing checks carried out by our team. Our staff can also assist with various domestic tasks, such as meal preparation, shopping, laundry, and household cleaning. Should a resident's care needs evolve, our on-site care team is equipped to manage these changes in collaboration with local healthcare providers, including doctors, dentists, hospitals, and social workers. With the resident's consent, we also work closely with family members to provide comprehensive support. However, for those requiring extensive nursing care, a Care Nest Homes Care home might be a more suitable option.
Additionally, a dedicated team focuses on promoting residents’ emotional and physical health by organizing regular activities and larger social gatherings to foster a sense of community.

Floating support

In addition to offering care and support within our supported housing services and retirement communities, we also provide community-based floating support for individuals who do not hold a tenancy with us. These short-term services are designed to assist people experiencing homelessness or managing mental health challenges.
Clients benefit from tailored one-on-one support delivered through workshops, drop-in sessions, and social group activities. They also have access to peer support, where they can connect with individuals who have faced and overcome similar experiences, fostering understanding and encouragement.
